Papers to be submitted by June 15, 2016 must include a cover sheet containing the presentation's title and full particulars of the author: first and last name, affiliation, complete return address, telephone, fax, and the e-mail address to which relevant correspondence will be sent.
To create a high-quality program reflecting state-of-the-art ideas and results in a particular field, the Program Committee shall evaluate the proposals received according to the criteria of originality, quality, significance, relevance to a broad audience of police researchers and/or practitioners, and clarity of presentation. All papers will be peer reviewed. The Program Committee's final decision regarding acceptance of papers will be mailed to authors no later than July 1, 2016.
The authors should be prepared to personally present their papers or workshops at the Conference, while the authors of proposals for a roundtable are expected to assume the role of the moderator.
All authors will receive the information regarding their participation at the conference (travel information, hotel options, social events, etc.), and/or this information will be published on the conference home page in June 2016 at the latest.
The working language of the Conference is English. Papers, as well as all any relevant correspondence, should be written in English.
Papers should be submitted in a Word for Windows format to Gorazd Meško (chairman of the programme committee).
Papers should not exceed 18 typed double-spaced pages, including references, tables, and figures.
A prescribed Style and Format of papers is available at the Journal of Criminal Justice and Security web page. Papers which will not conform the Manual will not be included into the book of conference proceedings.
All artwork must be camera ready. Authors should include their name, affiliation and e-mail address. Each paper should include an abstract with key words and biographical statement.
Submission of a paper implies commitment to presentation at the conference.
A deadline for the submission of the final version of the conference paper is June 15, 2016.
