Membereship and Registration

The Library of the University of Maribor, Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security (UM FCJS) is intended primarily for students and employees of the University of Maribor, but also accessible to the general public.

The membership fee is valid for all faculty libraries of the University of Maribor and for the University Library Maribor.

User registration

You can register in the Library of the UM FCJS during working hours (Monday, Thursday from 8.30 to 11.30 and from 12.30 to 16.30; Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 8.30 to 11.30 and from 12.30 to 14.00).

For registration, you will need:

• a valid identity document,
• student’s card.

The Library of the UM FCJS offers online enrolment with a registration form. Fill out the registration form at COBISS+ website with your personal data as it is written on your identification document.

Choose a type of enrolment:

• using student identity (University of Maribor students only)
• using a registration form (other categories of members)

The loan period is 3 weeks. Borrowed material can be extended:

e-Sources

The Library of the UM FCJS provides access to a large number of electronic information sources through the University Library of Maribor. Users can access e-sources in the library or from registered computers at the UM FCJS. Remote access to e-sources is possible for students and employees at UM.

According to license agreements, e-resources may only be used for personal or study and scientific research purposes.
